We did the *larger* broilers first then did the slower roasters last.... they were a good bit smaller when butchered but might have been because we had alot of losses due to the heat.We were planning...

No I did not.... actually we had more trouble with the slower ones... but I think it was more seasonal... it was SOOO HOT when we had them near butchering...the faster growing we had in the spring.......

I would not get the slow growers again. They really were very slow - and were not efficient with feed at all.Taste wise/size wise they weren't that much different from a rock.I'm doing capons next...
